Free State Stars have received a boost in their preparations for their upcoming game with the return of Nyiko Mobbie to training.
The defender was a notable absentee from Stars’ line-up for two games leading up to the FIFA international break.
It has been confirmed to the Siya crew that the right-back has recovered from the injury that halted his progress.
“Nyiko Mobbie has been injured and that’s why he didn’t play in the last two games or so before the break. He has recovered. He is training with the team preparing for the league’s restart,” said the source.
Mobbie has been influential for Luc Eymael’s team this season and his performances for Ea Lla Koto earned him admirers from around the PSL.
PSL giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have both been linked with the 23-year-old Shikundu-born player.
