The Siya crew understands that plans are in place for the new technical team to take over at National First Division club, Royal Eagles.
In an attempt to improve the team’s results and log position, Eagles have relieved Zipho Dlangalala of his coaching duties at the club.
Dlangalala has been in charge as a caretaker coach, who took over from Allan Freese after the former Platinum Stars coach was relieved of his duties in September.
News reaching the Siya crew is that Eagles are preparing to rope in their former coach Kostadin Papic, as well as Vladislav Heric to their technical team.
Papic, who was Eagles’ head coach last season, left his role in April this year to undergo back surgery in Serbia.
According to sources, the Serbian is back in the country and set to resume his duties at Eagles as their coach.
The indication from sources is that the former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs coach is set to be assisted by his compatriot in Heric sd part of the technical team of the KZN outfit.
Heric became available for a new coaching job after he parted ways with Cape Town All Stars two weeks ago. In their next match, Eagles are scheduled to travel to Vosloorus Stadium to face Jomo Cosmos on Sunday.
