Mzikayise Mashaba is still on the look out to find a new football home after his training stint with Kaizer Chiefs.
Chiefs confirmed that the former Sundowns player was training with the club under the watchful eye of Head Coach Giovanni Solinas and his technical team.
However, it was revealed earlier this month that the player stopped training with the club after Chiefs opted against offering him a deal.
According to sources, Solinas was not impressed enough with the player’s progress and the 29-year-old is now set to once again find a new football home.
Sources have added that the player is currently training on his own until a potential move arises.
Mashaba’s last competitive appearance was for Sundowns in the 2016/17 campaign, having missed a whole season of action following an injury and being released from Masandawana.
Now, it remains to be seen where the player will be playing his football this season, however, due to him being a free agent, he will not be bound by the transfer window deadline on August, 31.
