Lebusa To Sundowns Still On As Deal Restructured

Mosa Lebusa’s move to Mamelodi Sundowns is still on the cards, with the deal being restructured after the complications of this week.
The Siya crew reported yesterday that Lebusa’s transfer from Ajax Cape Town could be in the balance after Brandon Petersen – a player also involved in the transfer – decided that he won’t sign for Sundowns if Reyaad Pieterse joins.
Now though, word reaching the crew is that the defender’s move is possibly imminent, with just the final details of the deal set to be ironed out before becoming a Masandawana player.
Two Sundowns youngsters, Keletso Makgalwa and Khayelihle Shozi, have already started training with the Urban Warriors and are believed to have been involved in the package deal, although it remains to be seen whether they will now be a part of the Petersen or Lebusa aspect of the move.
Lebusa is hot property at present, having been one of the shining stars for Ajax in 2017/18, with all of South Africa’s ‘Big Three’ – Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates – known to have been looking to sign him.
The Brazilians, it seems, have won the race though, and there are indications that if all goes well his transfer could be tied up before the end of the week.
