AmaZulu's resurgence has reaped rewards, as the club will now use the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium as their new home venue.
Siya crew has gathered that Usuthu are set to move their offices to the 2010 FIFA World Cup stadium. The previous club owners left the stadium, citing lack of proper support as the reason for their decision.
The club then agreed a deal with Johnsson Kings Park in 2019 to share the stadium with Super Rugby team, Cell C Sharks.
When club president, Sandile Zungu took over, he made it clear that he would want Usuthu to return to Moses Mabhida and now it looks likely that a return will take place next season.
With Usuthu experiencing a purple patch under new coach, Benni McCarthy, the club, as well as Golden Arrows, are in the running for a CAF spot.
Insiders reveal that the eThekwini Municipality and Durban Tourism may reward the two KZN clubs with improved sponsorship deals, as the sides hope to feature in continental competitions.
