Siwahla Excited For Starting Afresh Overseas
Mkhanyiseli Siwahla Has Joined A Club In Poland
Polish club Proch Pionki is a new team for Mkhanyiseli Siwahla after the midfielder penned a deal with them.
Siwahla, 28, impressed during his trial with the Polish League IV side and has since been offered a deal to revive his career. The former Ajax Cape Town winger has told Soccer Laduma about the excitement of getting an opportunity to revive his career.
“I am happy for getting an opportunity for a new start in life. I am in Poland and excited to be here. I am a mature person these days as I am living my life for someone else. I have a child that I should take care of and look after. Life is no longer the same like back in the day, where I used to live only for myself. I have to share little I have with my son,” said Siwahla.
Ntsimbi, as Siwahla is known in football circles, has also been on the books of Bloemfontein Celtic, Chippa United and Mpumalanga Black Aces, among other clubs in his career.
“I am starting in a lower league here (Poland). That’s the decision I made – to start afresh. I want to show my talent here. Anyone who will want me at a later stage will have to buy me from this team. The deal has been done in such a way that I will be able to move on if I get offers from other clubs.
"They (Proch Pionki) said it themselves that I don’t belong in this league. I decided to join the club to show them my appreciation, because they allowed me to train with the team, and gave me the opportunity. They are treating me very well.
"When I arrived here for training with the team I had enquiries from other clubs from other divisions that wanted me to join them. They were offering me money and stuff but I decided to stay with the team I came here for. They took me from nowhere and gave me the opportunity. They like me and the supporters like me too,” he concluded.
