Masibusane Zongo is still interested in playing professional football to revive his career, according to sources.
As reported by the Siya crew, the talented but controversial midfielder has been released from police custody – where he has been held in recent months.
The 27-year-old, who has been at SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits, Chippa United and Platinum Stars among other clubs in his career, is believed to be keen on making a return to professional football.
According to sources, the player is keen on working on his fitness first, with a view of finding a club possibly in January.
National First Division club Royal Eagles were Zongo’s last club before his arrest. Indication from sources is that the KZN outfit could be interested in having a look at the player, with a view of giving him another chance to get his career back on track, if all goes well for him on his way to regain fitness.
