Following the dismissal of Sebastien Migne as head coach at Marumo Gallants, the Siya crew understands that the struggling DStv Premiership outfit will go for a local coach to sit in the hot seat.
Gallants confirmed the dismissal of Migne on Sunday, October 10, after the Frenchman faced the club's disicplinary committee for an incident which happened at OR Tambo International Airport after a 3-1 defeat to Golden Arrows before the international break.
During his time at the club, Migne was in charge of five Premiership matches and failed to register a victory. He did, though, lead Gallants past the first round in the CAF Confederation Cup, as the Limpopo outfit beat Equatorial Guinea's Futuro Kings over two legs.
Now word reaching the Siya crew is that the club will look to a local coach to get them out of trouble, with former TS Galaxy coach Owen da Gama believed to be a candidate for the job. Da Gama, who had talks with the club last season while it was still known as Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila under previous ownership, recently parted ways with the Rockets and is being considered for the vacant position, the Siya crew understands.
Mpho Maleka and David Mathebula are also options for the club, though it is believed they are looking for a more experienced candidate to get the team out of trouble.
Dan Malesela is an option for the club, having been without a club since leaving Chippa United in April.
