AmaZulu have confirmed the emergence of another player in their training, following Mario Booysen’s arrival at the club last week.
The Durban-based club has officially welcomed Thulani Cele from the Nedbank Ke Yona Team, with Slovakian coach Jozef Vukusic keen on giving the player a proper chance to impress for a potential deal.
Cele is more of a utlility player, with the ability to sot into different positions in defence and in midfield. He is a former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits youth player.
The talented player was Ke Yona Team’s goalscorer in their 2-1 loss to Nedbank Cup champions TS Galaxy in the 2019 Nedbank Ke Yona Challenge match at Kameelrivier Stadium last month.
Meanwhile, Usuthu are expected to make a decision on Booysen during this FIFA international break. The 31-year-old centre-back is looking for his first Absa Premiership deal since leaving Kaizer Chiefs, as Vukusic seeks defensive options for his team.
