The Siya crew has been led to believe that head coach Norman Mapeza has parted ways with Chippa United.
The Chilli Boys got back to winning ways in the Absa Premiership with a 1-0 success over AmaZulu on Saturday to move five points clear of the relegation zone.
However according to insiders at the club, the crew has now been led to believe that the Zimbabwean mentor has parted ways the Chilli Boys and the club is yet to provide an an official confirmation the details.
Mapeza took over from interim coach Duran Francis in October 2019 on a three-year deal after the side had failed to win their opening eight league encounters.
The Zimbabwean was the third coach to enter the hot seat at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium after Clinton Larsen and Francis.
Chippa travel to the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday evening to lock horns with an inconsistent Bidvest Wits outfit.
