Mamelodi Sundowns Still Want Aubrey Ngoma!
Mamelodi Sundowns are still looking to try and possibly complete a last minute deal for Aubrey Ngoma, in the final hours of the transfer window, after it was revealed that Head Coach Pitso Mosimane could lose out on Lebogang Manyama.
It was reported on the Soccer Laduma website this morning that Manyama’s move to Turkish-outfit, Atiker Konyaspor, has been agreed to in principle, with an official announcement set to be made in the coming hours.
It has been no secret that Sundowns were adamant on bringing the player to the Chloorkop-based club for the 2017/18 season, however, it seems as City were keen on selling the player abroad instead of losing him to a PSL rival.
However, it seems as though Sundowns are not done trying to do business with Mother City-based club. Siya sources have informed the crew that Sundowns are still looking to try and complete a last minute deal to land Ngoma.
Indications are that the Brazilians will have to table an impressive offer to the Citizens, if they are to secure the Bafana Bafana international's signature, with the player still a key member of City’s squad.
Ngoma suffered a setback a few weeks ago, after sustaining a knee injury while on duty for the South African national team. The 27-year-old was subsequently operated on, and while he is on the mend, is still wanted by Downs.
With just a few hours before the transfer window slams shut, on August 31, the Siya crew will continue to investigate and keep you updated on the latest happenings.
