Mamelodi Sundowns are set to announce a new goalkeeper, with negotiations now at an advanced stage.
The Siya crew reported in last week’s edition of Soccer Laduma that Sundowns are leading the race for Reyaad Pieterse’s services, with Kaizer Chiefs believed to have decided to wait until the goalkeeper becomes a free agent.
However, Sundowns have not wasted any time in their pursuit of the player, with Siya sources revealing that negotiations are at an advanced stage and the football fraternity can expect an announcement about the player’s signature in the coming days.
Pieterse has one more year left on his contract with SuperSport United, although has been linked with an exit for quite some time now.
However, it seems that the 26-year-old has since found his new home on the opposite side of Tshwane, with an announcement of him putting pen to paper with Sundowns now imminent.
