Mamelodi Sundowns’ new foreign signing is expected to join up with the team for pre-season On Sunday.
The Brazilians are yet to announce the signing of Toni Silva despite the player himself confirming that he has put pen-to-paper on a contract with the Chloorkop-based club.
However, indications are that Sundowns will be waiting for the upcoming July/August transfer window, to confirm his signature and whether or not he will be registered for the new season.
The Brazilians are set to make space on their foreign quota for the player, while recently being linked with another foreigner, Jose Ali Meza.
As things stand, Ivorian Bangaly Soumahoro and Ghanaian Brimah Razak are being linked with a move away from the Chloorkop-based club, with indications that Sundowns could be confirming a loan move or a transfer of both these players.
Sundowns already made an official announcement about Andile Jali’s signature, while they’re expected to continue bolstering their squad in the upcoming transfer window.
Now, it remains to be seen who the Brazilians will be announcing in the coming days.
