Mamelodi Sundowns Looking To Agree Transfer Fee To Sign Striker
Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to be locked in negotiations about a transfer fee for one of their transfer targets.
As revealed over the past weeks by the Siya crew, Masandawana are looking to bring in at least two new striker additions to the team, this following Leonardo Castro’s move to Kaizer Chiefs.
One of the names believed to be hot on the list of the Brazilians, is Bolivian striker, Gilbert Alvarez.
According to Siya sources, Masandawana are looking to bring in the player to the club at some point in the January transfer window, however, the two parties, Sundowns and Bolivian-side, Club Jorge Wilstermann are still currently locked in negotiations about a transfer fee.
Sundowns have been linked to several players ahead of the January transfer window, with the Brazilians believed to have intensified their interest in Cape Town City’s Aubrey Ngoma and SuperSport United’s Jeremy Brockie, while also tracking Uruguayan attacker, Gaston Sirino.
With the club having just one available foreign quota spots on the books, it remains to be seen which foreigner Sundowns will look to add, or if Head Coach Pitso Mosimane will be set to make several changes to his squad.
