Mamelodi Sundowns In Talks For Striker
Mamelodi Sundowns are in talks for former Free State Stars striker Thokozani Sekotlong, with a view of signing him.
Sekotlong is currently unattached after parting ways with Ea Lla Koto at the end of last month. The 26-year-old is the second Mamelodi-born player they are looking to sign, with the club having already signed George Lebese from Kaizer Chiefs.
Sekotlong, who previously also played for Maritzburg United and University of Pretoria in his career, has been training with Sundowns.
“The deal could be on the cards. The negotiations have been started. In fact, the negotiations are ongoing for Sundowns and the player,” a source told the Siya crew.
The Siya crew has been informed of interest in the player’s services from two unnamed clubs from Romania and Denmark respectively.
