Mamelodi Sundowns have parted ways with one of their defenders.
Rheece Evans, who was previously on the books of Ajax Cape Town on loan in the past 18 months, has been issued his clearance by his parent club, Sundowns.
The right-back was recently recovering from an injury that kept him out of action for quite some time, however, Siya sources have since revealed to the crew that Evans is fit and ready to hit the ground running, once he finds a new team.
The 27-year-old, who is now a free agent, joined Sundowns from Maritzburg United in 2014, where he was thereafter sent on loan to the Urban Warriors in 2017.
Now, Evans is set to find a new footballing home and although he will not be bound by the closure of the July/August transfer window, the defender will be keen to get back to action as soon as possible.
