Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to be in talks to send one of their midfielders out on loan in the 2018/19 campaign.
Sibusiso Khumalo did not feature in a single encounter for the Brazilians in the 2017/18 campaign, as he remains low down the pecking order at the club.
However, according to Siya sources, Sundowns are in talks to send the player out on loan next season, with Chippa United keen to bring the player to the Port Elizabeth outfit.
The 27-year-old put pen to paper on a new three year deal with Sundowns last year, despite any guarantee of regular game-time at the Chloorkop-based club.
However, it seems that being loaned out was always on the cards for the player and after no Premier Soccer League football in the 2017/18 season, sources have revealed that Chippa may be looking to offer the midfielder regular game-time in the new season.
Sundowns are expected to send a number of fringe players out on loan in the new season, after already bolstering their squad with three new signings ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
Now it remains to be seen whether all will be agreed to and if Khumalo will be able to make the move away from Sundowns in the coming weeks.
