Mamelodi Sundowns are preparing to launch a new bid for a utility player in the upcoming transfer window.
SuperSport United’s Aubrey Modiba has been on the Brazilians’ radar for quite sometime, although in the previous July/August transfer window, were unable to get Matsatsanta to budge.
As reported in this week's edition of Soccer Laduma, with Pitso Mosimane recently revealing that the Chloorkop-based club are eyeing two new additions to their squad next month, the Siya crew has been lead to be believe by sources in the know that Sundowns are preparing to table a new and improved offer to their neighbours, for the services of Modiba.

The 23-year-old Bafana Bafana international has previously admitted that he was aware of talk of a move to Masandawana in the previous transfer window, with indications that the player might be open to a new step in his career.
“As a player, you feel good knowing that a team like Sundowns and people are recognising your efforts. It makes me feel great, but at the same time I still have a contract with SuperSport and I can’t just pack and leave. When they told me the move was not happening, I told myself, ‘You know what, let me focus more on SuperSport’,” Modiba told Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview in November.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Sundowns will table an offer that SuperSport can’t resist, in the upcoming transfer window.
