Tau Still Not Back At Training… Time Ticking?

Mamelodi Sundowns Are Running Out Of Time To Accept Brighton And Hove Albion's Offer For Percy Tau

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 05, 2018 03:10 PM

Percy Tau has still not reported to pre-season training with Mamelodi Sundowns, with the Brazilians also running out of time to accept the current offer on the table for his services.

It has been reported in local media that English Premier League outfit, Brighton and Hove Albion have tabled a R50 million offer to Sundowns yesterday, putting a 24-hour deadline on their take-it-or-leave-it offer at the time.

With the player’s immediate future still up in the air, the 24-year-old has still not reported to pre-season training with the Brazilians, with indications that the playmaker’s mind is set on a move away from the Chloorkop-based club.

Although Sundowns, who have been locked in negotiations with Brighton for weeks now, is believed to be playing hardball with the English club, in terms of negotiating a transfer fee.

However, latest reports have indicated that Brighton are waiting for Sundowns to make a decision on whether or not they will be accepting the offer.

@dellah there were no offers for the two players for Chiefs to accept. Only rumours that Khune was going to Sundowns emerged.

@soccer Yemi it is not Tau who must accept the offer, it's his team. You are right, he has a contract with Sundowns and for that, he will regret all his life because the prison gates are hard to open.
