Sundowns Track Mozambican Midfielder
Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to have set their sights on a Mozambican midfielder, Luis Miquissone.
Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to have set their sights on a Mozambican midfielder, who has previously been linked with a move to the Premier Soccer League.
Cape Town City were believed to have shown an interest in Mozambican international, Luis Miquissone earlier this year – however, at the time, the Mother City-based club opted to sign the player’s countryman, Edmilson Dove instead.
The Siya crew has since been informed by sources in the know that Sundowns are now believed to be keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old from Uniao Desportiva do Songo, with
Head Coach Pitso Mosimane eager to bolster his squad in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Brazilians have already started making changes to their squad, with Leonardo Castro the first player to head out of the Chloorkop-based side, having signed for Kaizer Chiefs.
While Sundowns are adamant on bolstering their attack, Miquissone’s name has also been thrown into the mix to bolster the team’s midfield department.
South American strikers, Gilbert Alvarez and Guston Sirino, are both being linked to Sundowns, as is SuperSport United’s Jeremy Brockie, and with the Mozambican also on their radar, it remains to be seen how the club look to reshuffle their foreign quota.
