Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to have initiated talks with Ajax Cape Town for one of their players.
It has been reported in the past that Sundowns have been keen on trying to secure the services of Brandon Petersen from Ajax, as he has just one more year left on his contract with the Urban Warriors.

According to Siya sources, it seems that the Brazilians have since acted on their interest in the player, with sources revealing that Sundowns has initiated talks with the Urban Warriors for the 23-year-old shot-stopper.
Ajax now have a shot at PSL football next season, after being reinstated into 15th position on the Absa Premiership league standings.
The initial ruling from Advocate William Mokhari about Ajax being docked points has since been set aside by Judge Denise Fischer, which saw the promotion/relegation play-off results now null and void, with Ajax seemingly back in it.
However, the PSL is expected to respond and likely appeal this ruling, but it has since been referred back to FIFA, which means that it could be quite some time before anything is certain at the Ikamva-based club.
In the meantime, it remains to be seen whether Ajax will be open to further negotiations about letting their key players go, while they focus on the possibility of top-flight football next season.
