PSL giants Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns are linked with a Togolese international striker as both clubs are expected to make reinforcements to their respective squads.
As reported in this week’s Soccer Laduma, edition 1124, the name of Togolese international striker Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba has made it onto the wish-lists of the two of South Africa’s big clubs, as confirmed from sources close to both PSL giants, as well as the player’s representatives.

This past weekend, Laba helped his Moroccan team RS Berkane to a crucial 1-0 win over Egyptian giants Zamalek during their CAF Confederation Cup first leg final match on Sunday in Berkane.
With the match appearing to be heading for a 0-0 finish, the in-form striker rose to the occasion to break the hearts of the Egyptians with his 94th minute strike – his eighth of the continental competition.
With clubs looking to beef up their respective squads in preparation for the 2019/20 season, news making way to the Siya crew’s desk is that 27-year-old has caught the attention of both the Brazilians and Amakhosi.
“I can tell you that Sundowns and Chiefs are looking to sign the top goal-scorer of Morocco Premier League, Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, who is a Togo international striker. He has scored 18 goals,” Laba’s representative Kenneth Yamongbe told the Siya crew in confirming interest in the player from Mzansi’s big guns.
