Sundowns And Brighton Agree Deal In Principle

Mamelodi Sundowns And Brighton & Hove Albion Have Agreed To A Deal In Principle

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 16, 2018 12:59 PM

Mamelodi Sundowns and Brighton & Hove Albion are believed to have agreed to a deal in principle for the services of Percy Tau according to Siya sources close to the Brazilians’ dealings.

The Brazilians said on their official website last week, July 09 that President Patrice Motsepe has given management instructions to complete negotiations for Tau’s move to Brighton in the English Premier League. This after the 24-year-old apologised for missing pre-season training.

It has since been revealed to the Siya crew by sources in the know that the Brazilians have agreed to a deal in principle with Brighton, with an announcement about the completion of the deal imminent at this point.

Indications are that Brighton could be sending Tau on loan to another European club in the new season, as it will be difficult for the player to secure a work permit and play in the English Premier League.

It remains to be seen what will become of Tau’s situation once he puts pen to paper with Brighton. The football fraternity can expect an official announcement from the two clubs involved in the coming days.
