Lehlohonolo Majoro's Arrival To Open Door For James Keene Exit?
The arrival of Lehlohonolo Majoro at Bidvest Wits could see one of the The Students striker’s stay cut short.
The Clever Boys confirmed the signature of Majoro yesterday, following City’s statement that the striker was set to find a new home despite having six months left on his contract with the Mother City-based outfit.
Wits wasted no time in snatching up the player’s services, however, adding Majoro to their books could mean that one of their current striker’s future’s may be cut short.
As previously revealed by the Siya crew, there has been no talk of a new deal for James Keene, who will see his current contract with Wits come to an end this season,.
Wits currently have Amr Gamal, Majoro, Gabadinho Mhango, Keene and Eleazar Rogers on their books as strikers for the 2017/18 campaign, with Gamal and Roger’s stay also set to come to an end at the end of the campaign.
Now it remains to be seen what decision Wits will look to make on Keene in the coming weeks, as Majoro’s arrival at the club could decrease the Englishman’s chances of regular game-time.
