Manyama’s Turkish Contract Terminated, Sundowns/Chiefs Wait?
According to reports coming out of Turkey, Lebogang Manyama is now a free agent having had his contract with Konyaspor terminated.
The 27-year-old joined the Turkish outfit last year after an impressive campaign in the Absa Premiership with Cape Town City, however, things haven’t quite gone to plan for the former Ajax Cape Town man.
Manyama only made seven league appearances for the club in Europe following his move, and the Siya crew reported recently that his representatives were discussing his future with the club as he looked to negotiate an exit.
Now, according to pusulahaber.com.tr, the attacker has left the club and is now on the lookout for a new club as the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs lie in wait, two teams who will be buoyed by the fact that they won’t have to pay a transfer fee.
At this point, there has been no official confirmation of his departure from Konyaspor, and the crew will look to keep tabs on his situation to see where he will be playing his football next season.
