Lebogang Manyama could be in contention to make his official debut for Kaizer Chiefs this weekend, where he will be revisiting his former club.
Chiefs will travel away to the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, locking horns with Cape Town City in an Absa Premiership clash.
The Soweto giants recently confirmed the signing of Manyama following his return from Turkey, with the player looking to gain the standard match fitness to impress Head Coach Giovanni Solinas and potentially make his debut this weekend.
Solinas, who is spoilt for choice in his attacking department, could look to use the opportunity for Manyama to taunt his former head coach and teammates.
Manyama parted ways with City on September 07, 2017, when he made the move to Turkey, joining up with Atiker Konyaspor.
The 28-year-old enjoyed unforgettable moments in the blue and gold colours, having captained the Citizens throughout the 2016/17 campaign.
Manyama scored 14 goals and assisted six in all competitions for City in the 2016/17 campaign, subsequently scooping the Footballer of the Season accolade at the Premier Soccer League awards ceremony.
