Lakay Agrees To Sundowns Move

Lakay Agrees To Sundowns Move

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 10, 2018 08:02 PM

News reaching the Siya crew is that Cape Town City winger Lyle Lakay has agreed to move to Mamelodi Sundowns.

Read: Deals Expected To Be Completed In The Current Transfer Window

City  chairman, John Comitis revealed to the Siya crew earlier this week that there was interest in the 26-year-old from Sundowns and Bidvest Wits, although no deal was agreed upon yet, despite the player wanting to make a move to another club.

Siya sources have now indicated that the City winger has agreed to join the eight-time Absa Premiership champions.

The Siya crew tried to contact the player’s representative, Vasili Barbis, but he was unavailable for comment at the time of publishing.

Lakay joined the Citizens from Bloemfontein Celtic last season and went on to make 35 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and creating a further seven.

Another talent gone to waste when Lebese left Chiefs he said he want game time, did he really get game time? Mngoma as well but I don't blame Lakay if the money is good why not?

@scoreman99 I don t know whether you are suggesting that he was better than Dolly or Percy Tau or uyabhuda njeee..Because those were two players playing in his position. So Pitso was suppose to bench Dolly for Ngele just to tickle your small balls and make you feel happy ??. Sundowns as an organisation doesn't have to do things to try and make you and other idiots understand they have their mission if you think Ngele is so good then get a team and sign Ngele finish.

South Africa football players are stupid to join Sundowns knowing very well 2-4 players are playing that certain position or is it for the love of money ...that's why our league and national team is weak ...they don't wanna be the best ...but instead enjoy a fat salary and eat pop corn at the stands ...

To be honest Lakey is a good player but I think Dunu don't need him unless Dunu motive is to weaker PSL teams by buying quality players and put them on the stand,,Ngoma is yet to cement his place at Dunu together with Teabag but Dunu opt to buy another wing player

One team is bankrupt because they spend all their money in one player. They can't afford to hire a coach. They Were hoping to get a loan from VBS but it is also put under administration.
