Highlands Secure New Keeper
Highlands Park are believed to have completed a swoop for their new shot-stopper, snapping up a former Bidvest Wits man to bolster their goalkeeping department.
The Siya crew reported recently that Kyle Peters had been training with the club and had impressed Owen da Gama and his technical staff, and it appears that he has done enough to secure himself a deal.
According to Siya sources, the 25-year-old has agreed to a deal with the Lions of the North that will see him don their colours next season as they return to the Absa Premiership, with the 25-year-old available as a free agent following his exit from Wits at the end of his contract.
The club is set to launch their new kit for the season on July 25th as the upcoming campaign draws closer, and it is expected that a host of new players – including Peters – will also be unveiled on the same date.
Peters played just three league games at Wits during his two seasons there as he struggled to get past Darren Keet and Moeneeb Josephs, but he will be hoping to get the chance to prove himself now under Da Gama’s tutelage.
