Kgotso Moleko is struggling with regular game-time at Kaizer Chiefs in the current 2018/19 season, with sources indicating that he could be nearing an exit from the club.
Since coming on as a late substitute in Chiefs’ first game of the season against Mamelodi Sundowns, the defender has yet to get another chance to play in Giovanni Solinas’ team.

Under former Chiefs coach Steve Komphela, Moleko made eight starts in the league last season, which was seen as an improvement from previous seasons where he struggled for game-time at the Soweto giants, since his arrival at the club from Bloemfontein Celtic in 2012.
During the 2016/17 season, the right-back made only seven appearances in all competitions for Amakhosi.
With the player’s contract extension with Chiefs set to expire in June next year, it is believed that the 29-year-old could be available for a move in January should the Soweto giants decide to listen to offers, with a view to cash in on the defender.

As reported in edition 1089 of Soccer Laduma, Celtic is one of the clubs monitoring the player’s situation, according to sources in the know.
“Kgotso Moleko could be loaned from Chiefs to another club if he doesn’t get a chance to play in the upcoming matches. Bloemfontein Celtic is one of the clubs monitoring the player’s situation closely,” explained a Siya source.
Celtic currently have Lorenzo Gordinho in Komphela’s squad this season, who is on loan from Chiefs, and a former teammate of Moleko.
