Defender's Long Road Back To The PSL…

Kgotso Mogagabe could be on the verge of securing a return to the Premier Soccer League after being given the chance to train with Highlands Park.
The 24-year-old defender, who has spent time with the likes of Black Leopards and FC Cape Town in recent years, came close to securing a deal with Orlando Pirates’ Multichoice Diski Challenge through Shield’s Sbonis'iDiski campaign, however, wasn’t able to go all the way.
It appears that his efforts were not in vain though, with the competition seemingly getting his career back on track as he eyes a return to the professional ranks with the Lions of North.
The versatile player had a tough two-year spell on the sidelines due to injury, though is now fit and ready to get back among the big boys, having been at Highlands for a couple of weeks now.
It remains to be seen how long Mogagabe will be given to impress Owen da Gama and his technical team, however, he will be eager to make a mark on them as soon as possible.
