While Bidvest Wits are looking to cash in on a few of their players, one player is already confirmed to be leaving the club on a free.
Deon Hotto, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Haashim Domingo and Thabang Monare are all being linked with a move away from the Clever Boys who are on the verge of selling their top-flight status.
Sources have revealed that Mamelodi Sundowns have already tabled a R17 million offer to Wits for the services of Hlatshwayo, Hotto and Domingo, while indications are that Wits could also be cashing in on Monare before the club is sold.
Meanwhile, a source confirmed to the Siya crew that Keegan Ritchie will be one of the players who will leave the Braamfontein outfit on a free at the end of the season.
The Siya crew reported last month that Wits were in talks with Ritchie over a new deal, as his current one will expire at the end of the season.
“Keagan’s situation is different. He is out of contract at the end of the season and does not have an option beyond. However, we have been engaging with his representatives,” club’s Chief Operations Officer, Jonathan Schloss confirmed at the time.
However, it has since been confirmed to the Siya crew that talks have since stopped between the two parties and Ritchie will be leaving Wits on a free at the end of the season.
