Fresh Chance Given To Ex-Chiefs/Sundowns Duo

Keagan Buchanan and Jabulani Shongwe have both been offered the chance to get their careers back on track, with the duo currently available as free agents.
The Siya crew recently reported that Maritzburg United had shown an interest in signing Buchanan following his exit from Kaizer Chiefs, while Shongwe will be available from July 1st once his Bidvest Wits contract expires.
According to Siya sources, both players began training with the Team of Choice on Monday as Fadlu Davids’ side got back to work in preparation for the new season, with the duo being assessed ahead of a potential move to Pietermaritzburg.
Meanwhile, new signing, Denwin Farmer, also reported for training for the first time as he got his career with Maritzburg underway following his move from SuperSport United.
The club’s players who were away with Bafana Bafana have been given some extra time to recuperate prior to the 2018/19 season, but will be expected back shortly as Davids prepares his team for the challenges to come.
