Chiefs Called In For Final Day, Time For Change

Kaizer Chiefs Will Have Their Final Day Next Week

By Soccer Laduma - May 10, 2018 01:38 PM

Kaizer Chiefs will officially bring the curtain down on a disappointing season next week following their final game of the season against Ajax Cape Town.

The Amakhosi have endured a difficult season in the Premier Soccer League, once again failing to land a trophy as they went three campaigns without silverware for the first time in their history.

Patrick Mabedi’s side has the chance to put a mild shine on their season if they can get a result against Ajax and qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup, although the club has already explained that there will be big changes coming in the off-season.

Siya sources have revealed that Chiefs will undergo their final session of the season on Tuesday, where they are expected to find out some of the plans going forward, such as the programme for their upcoming pre-season.

It remains to be seen when players who could be deemed surplus to requirements will be informed of the decision on their future, although it is thought that there will be announcements made by the club in the near future.

The truth hurts, hooligans are hooligans maan.We went for Pitso and Neeskens heads coz we were demanding results not as a front to steal headphones, break cameras, burn the stadium and beating up helpless security personnel

@Love-downs Sundowns are the Usain Bolt of hooliganism, no chiefs coach has left the stadium in a police NYALA but two of Sundowns' coaches went through that, namely Pitso and Neeskens. Next time you feel like calling someone a hooligan look in the mirror

Why do clubs pray before training sessions but use muthi before games? I see Chiefs are praying in the picture but before games you see somebody sprinkle something in on the goal line?

@Love-downs you call us hooligans? You forget easily. You once haunted Pitso and he ended up being in Casper at LMoripe because he was not bringing results. This is SA fool. At this three clubs, you bring results or face hooligans. You talk now because all is well for.

@mbixane they always do this, releasing players before appointing a coach. Then we will be frustrated because they will release deserving players and leave these old Madalas.

The new coach first must decide on which players are deemed to be surplus not the management or the current caretaker coach. There are some players who were not even given the fair chance to prove themselves since they were signed by the team e.g. B. Jayiya, S.Khumalo and G.Paez even that K. Buchanan for that matter was never given a fair chance
