Chiefs Players Given Counselling After Nedbank Loss
Kaizer Chiefs Players Have Received Strict Instructions After This Weekend
According to Siya sources, the Kaizer Chiefs team received trauma counselling following the incidents which took place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium over the weekend.
Chiefs suffered a 2-0 loss to Free State Stars in Durban on Saturday, which resulted in fans storming the field in acts of violence and hooliganism.
During the incident, many players were forced to exit the field immediately, so as to distance themselves from the chaos taking place at the time.
The Siya crew was informed by sources in the know that the Amakhosi team received trauma counselling after Saturday, in the case of any psychological challenges following the incident.
Sources have also added that the players were told to be wary of how they interact on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram following all that took place at the weekend.
Chiefs suffered a 3-1 loss to Golden Arrows last night, their first game without Steve Komphela at the helm of the team. However, Amakhosi are still in fourth place on the league standings with two games still to be played.
