Chiefs Man Headed For Botswana?
Kaizer Chiefs' Michelle Katsvairo Could Be Going To Township Rollers
Kaizer Chiefs attacker, Michelle Katsvairo, is wanted by Botswana’s Township Rollers for the 2017/18 campaign, however, at this point, a deal hasn’t been agreed.
The 27-year-old has already been informed that he is not in Steve Komphela’s plans for the season at this stage, with the club revealing back in June that he would be sent out on loan for the upcoming campaign.
Now, with around three weeks of the transfer window left before it closes, the Zimbabwean is still training with the Amakhosi as a move away is yet to be finalised.
The Siya crew spoke to club President, Jagdish Shah, who said the current situation is as follows, “We have requested to Kaizer Chiefs Football Club if we can have him on loan… Nothing is yet finalized, so it may or may not happen. We have our fingers crossed, we would be extremely happy if that happens.”
Meanwhile, both Darren Lurie and Arnaldo Gomes have stopped training with the club as Steve Komphela seemingly decided that neither would be handed a contract at Naturena.
