Kaizer Chiefs do not have a new head coach yet, but may also be in the market for a new Technical Advisor at the club going forward…
Chiefs have been on the lookout for Steve Komphela’s successor for many weeks now, and despite several names being linked with the post, next week they start their pre-season without anyone having been announced.
As reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, the club’s current Technical Advisor, Rob Hutting, is due to see his contract with the club expire next week, and there has been no word on whether he will remain at the club or not.
Speaking on his arrival in Mzansi, the Dutchman said, “I am honoured to be here and will serve the club with pride. This is a special day for me. I have been following Kaizer Chiefs and South African football for a while and looking forward to working with Coach Steve Komphela and the rest of the coaches here at Kaizer Chiefs.”
Should Hutting leave the club, as is certainly a possibility at this stage, it remains to be seen whether the Amakhosi will look to replace him as well as bringing in a head coach, or rather focus their efforts on a coach alone.
Do you think Hutting should remain at Naturena?
