The 28-year-old skilful player has been playing regularly under the Serbian coach at the Port Elizabeth outfit.
The former Orlando Pirates player has been influential for the Chilli Boys in their push for top eight qualification in their remaining games of the season.
The player’s superb goal during the 3-0 win for Chippa against Chiefs recently, as we as other inspiring performances for him in recent matches, have earned the star admirers from PSL clubs.
“Thabo Rakhale’s name has been added to those of players that Chiefs are monitoring and interested in. However, any likelihood of the player joining them would depend on Chippa United, as he has a contract with the club. A player of Rakhale’s calibre would go a long way in making Chiefs’ supporters happy,” said the source.
Rakhale has been with Chippa since January, having joined the club from Pirates, where he had been a fan favourite.
