Kaizer Chiefs is expected to make a decision on Zimbabwean, Teenage Hadebe, after confirmation from the club on player departures.
The Amakhosi confirmed that the contracts of Siyanda Xulu, Lucky Baloyi, Camaldine Abraw and Lewis Macha will be terminated, while Enocent Mkhabela will be given a chance to make his stay at Platinum Stars permanent, after his loan spell with the North West outfit.
In addition, the Soweto giants confirmed that Siphelele Mthembu’s contract will not be extended, while Michelle Katsvairo will be sent out on a season-long loan.
It was reported by the Siya crew at the beginning of the week that Chiefs’ negotiations for Teenage Hadebe are at an advanced stage. The Zimbabwean player’s agent, Gibson Mahachi, confirmed to the Siya crew that negotiations with Chiefs for the defender have progressed.
Hadebe could be added to the defence of Steve Komphela’s team for the 2017/18 season, depending on the outcome of the negotiations.
Chiefs will need a centre back to replace Xulu and to compete with the likes of Mulomowandau Mathoho, Lorenzo Gordinho and Daniel Cardoso for a starting berth in Komphela’s team.
