Chiefs To Swap This Star For Jantjie?

Kaizer Chiefs could be looking at the possibility of throwing one of their players into the bargain in an attempt to try and land Sinethemba Jantjie from Free State Stars.
The Siya crew reported in last week’s issue of Soccer Laduma that Twala – who has fallen down the pecking order drastically at Naturena, could be sent out on loan in upcoming window, but there could be another alternative.
As explained in the latest issue, Twala could well be used as bait in an attempt to persuade Stars to part with one of their top performers, rather than trying to lure him away with cash alone.
Jantjie has been a standout player for Ea Lla Koto as they continue their improved start to the campaign and has featured in all 11 of their games as they climbed up to 11th in the Absa Premiership.
Meanwhile, Twala hasn’t made a single start for the Amakhosi this season under Steve Komphela and was recently taken off in a game despite having just come on as a substitute.
One complication for Chiefs is that, while Jantjie is in the last year of his contract with Stars, they do have an option to extend the deal for a further two years before the season is out.
