Chiefs Open Talks With Potential Coaching Option...

Word reaching the Siya crew is that there are talks going on behind the scenes involving the representatives of Patrice Carteron and Kaizer Chiefs ahead of a possible move.
Despite the Glamour Boys securing a win over Zimamoto of Zanzibar in the CAF Confederation Cup last week, and while Giovanni Solinas still has a job at present, there has been talk that he is already on thin ice after less than six months in charge.
Chiefs have already missed out on the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout this season, lost twice to their bitter rivals, Orlando Pirates, and are some way off the pace in the Absa Premiership, while fans of the club are getting disgruntled at the prospect of another trophyless campaign.
Carteron was linked with Chiefs prior to Solinas’ appointment and is no stranger to African football, having coached in Mali, Egypt and achieved continental success with Congolese side, TP Mazembe.
With pressure mounting on Solinas as Chiefs are positioned in seventh place on the Absa Premiership log, Carteron's experience could count in his favour as a possible candidate to take Chiefs forward in the new year.
After losing in the CCL final with Al Ahly, it seems the former Phoenix Rising head coach is on the lookout for the next chapter in his career.
The crew contacted Chiefs for comment on the matter, however, received no response at the time of publishing.
