Ryan Moon, who Joined Amakhosi from Maritzburg United in July 2016, will see his contract come to an end with the Soweto giants next year, June 30.
However, according to unconfirmed reports, it is believed that the club may have the option to extend Moon’s contract by another year.
Although, the 21-year-old has been faced with the challenge of fighting for game-time under the team’s new mentor, Giovanni Solinas.
Moon has just made four appearances in all competitions for Chiefs this season, with Head Coach Solinas yet to find his winning formula, being able to rotate between Khama Billiat, Moon, Leonardo Castro, Bernard Parker in the striking department.
According to Siya sources in the know, talks about Moon’s immediate future with Amakhosi is expected to take place in the coming months, where Chiefs could look to either extend the player’s stay at the club, or should the player continue to struggle for game-time, the Soweto giants could possibly look to place the 21-year-old on loan in the upcoming January transfer window.
