Amakhosi Now In Race Against Time For New Coach?

Kaizer Chiefs will begin pre-season in just 11 days, but at this point in time have not made an announcement on who will be the person to lead the team forward.
Supporters of the Amakhosi would have been hoping that the club would finalise their coaching situation before the players returned to Naturena on June 25th, with almost two months have passed since Steve Komphela’s resignation.
However, having missed out on Patrice Carteron – who joined Al Ahly – and opted not to discuss the matter in public, questions have now been asked regarding whether the Glamour Boys have their man or not.
Numerous names, including that of Avram Grant and Stuart Baxter, have had their names put in the hat for the position, although – like Carteron – they are both currently employed at the moment.
With the club’s players due back to the village in less than two weeks, Chiefs may have to up the ante in terms of getting themselves sorted on the coaching front, or face the prospect of their pre-season getting underway with Patrick Mabedi still in place as interim head coach.
Do you think Chiefs will have a coach in place by June 25th?
