Kaizer Chiefs are believed to make an official announcement about player departures in the coming weeks, with Siya sources revealing a minimum of five players who could be on their way out of Naturena.

Prior to the end of the 2017/18 campaign, Football Manager, Bobby Motaung assured the football fraternity that they can expect a massive turn around at Amakhosi, with changes to both the squad and technical team expected to be made soon.

The club seems to still be finalising the process of finding a new head coach for the team in the new season, however, according to sources, Amakhosi have already made a decision on which players could be leaving the club in the coming weeks.

As reported previously by the Siya crew, the club and Keagan Buchanan’s camp are believed to be in talks about a mutual termination of the player’s deal, while the crew as revealed that it seems unlikely that Tsepo Masilela will have his contract extended at Amakhosi.

According to sources, the duo is not the only players who could be leaving Chiefs ahead of the start of next season.

Sources have revealed that the club is currently in discussions about the immediate futures of Sibusiso Khumalo, Edmore Chirambadare and Emmanuel Letlotlo.

The source has added that it seems unlikely that these players will continue on the books of Chiefs in the new season, although, it remains to be seen whether they will be coming to a mutual agreement.

While sources have revealed five players so far, there could be others who could be headed out the exit door at the club. Chiefs are expected to make announcements about player movements in the coming weeks.

Again this is good yet I still maintain that Chirambadare is a good player he need to be loaned out not to be released for free.

Most players were not given a chance, our management are overreacting I guess. They must get a coach first and add two or three players on the squad, players like Jali and Billiat

The new coach must make that decision. But for the old guys like Masilela, a decision can be made already, he is finished. We saw in the Chippa game that Masilela even tried avoiding marking a speedy winger leading to a goal. Its over for him. The rest, let the coach make a decision.

ReleasING players b4 the head coach arrives indicated only one thing, player acquisition at Chiefs is dealt with by someone other than the coach, hence the chaos n lack of success. Why not get the head coach in first n let him look at the players? The likes of Parker, Masilela, Maluleka, Katsande n Shabba can be released anytime. They've done their part.....set them free!!!!
