Chiefs To Offer Billiat Pre-Contract?

Kaizer Chiefs Are Believed To Have Escalated Their Interest In Mamelodi Sundowns' Khama Billiat

Kaizer Chiefs are hopeful to secure Khama Billiat’s signature on a pre-contract during the current January transfer window, this according to Siya sources.

It has been reported over recent months that Billiat could be heading for the exit at the Chlooorkop-based club, as the player is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Billiat’s contract with Sundowns is set to come to an end on June 30 this year and as a result, Head Coach Pitso Mosimane has stated on several occasions that the club is preparing for life without the Zimbabwean international, despite hope that he would extend his stay beyond the current season.

However, the player has been heavily linked with an exit from the club and Chiefs are one of the many clubs believed to be interested in the player’s services.

According to Siya sources, Amakhosi have already escalated their interest in the player, with the source revealing that the Soweto giants have offered the player an attractive pre-contract.

Should Billiat agree to the deal, the player could join up with the club as a free agent when his deal with Masandawana comes to an end at the end of June.

Now, it remains to be seen what decision the 27-year-old will make in the next step of his professional football career.

@EPHIE When was the last time you got into any negotiations where money and services was the topic...Learn that Khama has achieved much and he wants to leave a meeting Mark in South Africa...Which player in South Africa has won Champions League with 2 different teams....maybe Khama with his age has his sight set in making history ....and that will be with Chiefs...

@DJ Nax It is a sign of sensible and person full of understanding of player movement.Your stance on Khama is pleasing to note.I am proud brother.I remember the story of Peter Ndlovu who eventually ended up with Sundowns and Chiefs moved on without holding grudges with Sundowns.Wherever Khama lands it will be his final choice and decision.

Honestly!! Khama must come home. Chiefs is the only PSL club that is able to show Zimbabwean players Love and Peace. I mean... From Katsande to Musona to Nengomasha to Basera to Sweswe to Karuru to Rusike to Nkatha to Zvasiya to Jambo to Amidu to Hadebe to Chirambadare to Muchichwa, how can you doubt. There is no place like home Khama. Just come home Khama. R160 000pm is not enough for you, you deserve more than that . We can offer you more than that boy.

If Billiat can join Chiefs, I will walk naked ( underwear on my head ) from Nellmapius ( Mamelodi ) to Loftus. I mean he is too big to play for zamalek, cows, maize meal, macufe etc.
