Chiefs To Reignite Their Interest In Laffor?
Kaizer Chiefs Are Believed To Be Sniffing Around Anthony Laffor
It is believed that Kaizer Chiefs are looking to reignite their interest in one of Mamelodi Sundowns’ attackers, with a view of possibly offering the player a short-term contract.
Anthony Laffor, who has been on the radar of Chiefs for quite some time now, will see his contract with Masandawana come to an end on June 30 next year.
According to sources, Amakhosi are believed to be sniffing around the Liberian, with a view of possibly bringing the player to Naturena on a short-term deal.
The 33-year-old has seen very little game-time at the Chloorkop-based club after being side-lined with injury for most of the 2017/18 campaign, with his last appearance for Sundowns dating back to early in January this year.
However, indications are that Chiefs are considering bringing the player on board at Naturena, should Sundowns be willing to part ways with the Liberian.
According to sources, Amakhosi are looking to offer the player a short-term deal at the club, as he nears the final years of his professional football career.
