SuperSport Decide Who’ll Lead Them Into The New Season
SuperSport United are believed to have decided that it will be Kaitano Tembo who leads them into the start of the 2018/19 Absa Premiership season as their head coach.
Tembo was appointed as interim head coach following Eric Tinkler’s resignation towards the end of the 2017/18 campaign, helping to turn around the club’s fortunes and make sure that they secured their place in the top flight.
The Zimbabwean, who has been with SuperSport for almost two decades, is thought to have impressed the club’s management over the past few months with the good work that has been done with the team, and he is now expected to be in charge when the league gets underway next month.
SuperSport recently spent some time in Polokwane as they underwent their pre-season preparations for the new campaign, and it now appears that the man tasked with putting them through their paces before the 2018/19 season, will be the same man leading Matsatsantsa into battle on August 4th.
The club has been linked with a plethora of coaches such as Stuart Baxter and Sven-Göran Eriksson, though it looks as though the 48-year-old club legend will get his chance to show what he can do.
