Shonga scored a last-minute equaliser for the Zambia senior national team by way of a stunning free-kick to earn the side a point against Namibia during Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Former Platinum Stars striker Benson Shilongo had earlier scored for Namibia before Shonga denied them a win and three points.
Shonga’s teammate from Pirates Augustine Mulenga also played in the match at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek.
