Interest is pouring in for the services of Jozef Vukusic, who has confirmed telling Polokwane City to find a replacement, according to sources at the Limpopo club.
As reported by the Siya crew, the Slovakian coach has informed Rise and Shine through the club’s team manager Bernard Molekwa, who also served as his assistant in the technical team, that he has quit as the club’s head coach.
Indications from sources close to Polokwane is that the coach is wanted by no less than three clubs in the PSL, while it is believed that there is also a club abroad interested in his services.
“The coach is wanted by some of the top teams in the country, although it will be difficult to reveal their names at this stage as the teams finished the season having their coaches on board. There are at least three clubs showing serious interest in the coach and one of them is a big club in the PSL,” a source told the Siya crew.
Vukusic is left with one year from the two-year contract he signed with Polokwane when he joined the club last year. The Limpopo outfit also have an option of extending the deal by further two years.
