Chiefs To Terminate Attacker’s Deal?
Joseph Molangoane May Not Have A Future At Kaizer Chiefs
Word reaching the Siya crew is that Kaizer Chiefs could be looking to agree on a mutual termination of Joseph Molangoane's contract, despite the fight they put up to get him on board.
The 29-year-old joined Amakhosi after a very public exit from Chippa United last season, however is yet to feature in a single league game for the club in the 2017/18 season, often not even making it into the matchday squad for Steve Komphela.
He played 17 minutes in the first game of the MTN8 – which Chiefs lost – and has since only made the matchday squad three times, missing out completely in the recent games against Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows.
According to Siya sources, ‘Tight’ has fallen down the pecking order under Komphela in the current season, and there is now talk of him being released from his contract before the next transfer window opens, if an agreement can be reached between the involved parties.
With William Twala being substituted on and then off for Chiefs in the 0-0 draw with Golden Arrows, a window of opportunity may have opened up for Molangoane, however as things stand his future at the club does not look bright.
