It later emerged in the media that club chairman Jomo Sono admitted to allegedly owing the players’ salaries for May and June.
Meanwhile, Ezenkosi have since confirmed putting their number one goalkeeper King Ndlovu on the transfer list. While it has not been confirmed that the shot-stopper is one of the players that were owed money by the club, the club has confirmed that he is one of the players to be transferred.
Ndlovu was once invited for training at Kaizer Chiefs in 2016 when Itumeleng Khune was injured. The 25-year-old is a former Mamelodi Sundowns development player.

“Jomo Cosmos have placed goalkeeper King Ndlovu on transfer with immediate effect. An official statement from the club revealed that the decision was reached based on the player’s request,” stated Cosmos on the club’s official website.
“We have transfer-listed King Ndlovu as demanded by the player, as we do not intend to stand in his way. The club would like to thank him for his services up to this point and we hope he secures better opportunities elsewhere,” confirmed the NFD club in a statement.
Well-travelled Zambian midfielder Clifford Mulenga is one of the players who have been vocal about the salary saga at Ezenkosi.
